Before the meeting between their favorite team and Saint-Sébastien-de-Morsent this Sunday, November 10, 2024, our newspaper collected some comments from loyal volunteers and other supporters of the Serquigny–Nassandres Football Club.
“We have to take advantage of it”
Corinne Sanson (54 years old) has been in charge of the refreshment bar for 20 years. She is present every Sunday match, those of the first team as well as those of the reserve.
“And this year, there are more people at the stadiumand therefore more customers at the refreshment bar, she laughs. It’s great what’s happening to us in the club. You have to take advantage of it. This brings together all the volunteers who are proud of this course in the Coupe de France. »
“It’s just happiness,” rejoices the one who also takes part in other events such as the Risle Cup or tournaments.
“It’s magnificent”
Jérôme Copin (54 years old), he has been a manager at the FCSN for 24 years. He took care of young people, then was responsible for making the linesman for the team. From now on, he helps Julien Vinette to prepare well for matches and provides support regarding stewardship.
“What’s happening to us is magnificent. It’s the dream of a volunteer to experience a season and a journey in the Coupe de France like this. Facing Guingamp a Ligue 2 club will only happen to us once. » Jérôme will naturally be in Lisieux next Saturday.
Bernard Maquaire (70 years old) has been a supporter of the club for around 55 years. He followed the evolution and development of the club. “This run in the Coupe de France is impeccable, it’s unexpected,” he says. It’s a historic year for the club. Unfortunately, because of my disability, I will not be able to go to Lisieux next Saturday. »
“A historic journey”
Michel James (67 years old) was a FCSN player. He is also one supporting since its creation in 1970. He attends all the matches.
“This season, the team got off to a very good start in the Regional 2 championship,” he observes. She made a historic run in the Coupe de France. The first team is stronger this seasonmore homogeneous. The game played is pleasant. It’s just happiness. »And against Guingamp, “why not a surprise? »
As for Olivier Langanne (66 years old), he was a player then an educator within the club. He too has always been a supporter since its creation in 1970.
“What’s happening this season is magnificent, impeccable,” he confides. I am very happy for the players that they can play an L2 team like Guingamp in the Coupe de France. Honestly, nothing can happen to them.”
