The winter transfer window is fast approaching and behind the scenes management is working hard to make the necessary adjustments. To ensure you don’t miss anything that’s essential, Footnews takes stock every day.
In Belgium
Danes are becoming increasingly rare in Anderlecht. After the departures of Thomas Delaney, Kasper Schemeichel, Brian Riemer and Jesper Fredberg, the Brussels club decided to part ways with Magnus Munck. Arriving last summer at RSCA Futures, the young midfielder failed to convince. He was therefore sent back to FC Nordsjaelland.
As far as Christian Eriksen is concerned, the arrival of the Manchester United midfielder seems completely ruled out. Olivier Renard believes that the RSCA already has enough experienced players.
Abroad
Vincent Kompany has done a good job since his arrival at Bayern Munich. Our compatriot would also be one of the favorites to succeed Carlo Ancelotti on the Real Madrid bench. Xabi Alonso (Bayer Leverkusen), however, remains the priority target of Madrid leaders.
In search of a new defender, Real Madrid were offered the services of Sergio Ramos but Florentino Pérez decided to kindly refuse the former Spain international’s offer. As a reminder, Ramos is looking for one last challenge before retiring.
