An unmissable event on the African racing calendar, this event brought together high-level jockeys and horses at the Marrakech Hippodrome, showcasing all the equestrian expertise and passion of the continent.

The 2024 African Grand Prix took place in three highlights: an official inauguration on the first day, followed by a seminar day rich in exchanges and discussions on the second day, before culminating on the third day with the long-awaited races . The flagship race, the African Grand Prix, took place over a distance of 1,900 meters and brought together exceptional competitors.

After a fierce race, it was the horse Briefing, ridden by jockey Jaouad Khayate, who crossed the finish line in the lead, followed very closely by Cutkiller DZ and by Enduscip Fal, to the warm applause of an audience conquered. This edition of the African Grand Prix was marked by other exceptional sporting achievements.

Among the most distinguished performances, the victory of Royal Air Force, ridden by Kacem Faddoul, during the 1600 meter SOREC race, but also that of Kit de Cerisy, ridden by Abdelkader El Kandoussi, in the 1900 meter PMU race, and finally the brilliant performance of Nazir Maamora under the saddle of Amine Moughat during the Marrakech race over 1900 meters. During the African Brotherhood race, Donsafa Fal, ridden by Soufiane Abouhayane, triumphed in a supercharged atmosphere, offering the public a moment of pure enthusiasm.

The 2024 African Grand Prix was also a valuable opportunity to strengthen cooperative ties between African national lotteries and international players in the horse racing sector. Twelve African delegations were present to demonstrate their growing interest in the equine industry and games in Africa.
