This sporting event, which is part of the celebrations of the 69th anniversary of Independence Day and which is organized in partnership with the province of Assa-Zag, the provincial council and the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation, will see the participation of representatives from 52 countries from all continents, according to a press release from the Royal Moroccan Federation of Sport For All.
The same source indicated that the program of this festival, which will take place in the presence of the president of the International Federation of Sport for All, Issa Mohammed Abdul Rahim (Bahrain), and other leading sports figures, notably from Italy and Spain, will be marked by the organization of a conference on the theme: “Traditional sports and their role in cultural influence and rapprochement between peoples”, shows, competitions, a race as well as evenings artistic.
The press release adds that the Federation works to promote traditional games as intangible heritage, through caravans and sports days within prison establishments.
