Beyond the technical aspects, Samuel Eto’o and Fécafoot have decided to take charge of the entire coordination and organization of the Indomitable Lions meetings. This Monday, when a preparatory meeting for the two confrontations in Cameroon this month of November was to be held, neither Fécafoot nor the Coordination of National Selection showed up.
Marc Brys made the trip as national coach and head of technical support. Samuel Eto’o would therefore have, as Camfoot.com learned, expressly asked the Coordinator of the national selections not to appear. The President of the Federation believes that according to the texts linking his institution to his supervision, this meeting should be led by his representative or by himself.
However, one does not exclude the other. Samuel Eto’o’s Fécafoot, being responsible for the purely technical side, can develop, as was done during the last gathering, a coordination meeting of the departments under its dismemberment. And the ministry, in a more global context which includes diplomacy, politics, tourism, as well as the security aspect.
To understand the reasons for these contradictory decisions in relation to the efforts made to achieve a peace of the brave, a close friend of Samuel Eto’o confirms to Camfoot.com that nothing will be different with regard to Fécafoot. In other words:
Marc Brys will once again confirm who has the real power
- Joachim Mununga can therefore be assured that he will not take a place on the sidelines
- The National Selection Coordinator has no orders to take from Marc Brys
