First surprise in this Euro: Romania crushes Ukraine, the former Pro League are celebrating! – All football

Ukraine faced Romania this Monday afternoon in the first match of Group E. Romania, the Red Devils’ next opponent, created a surprise.

Ukraine was considered the favorite in this match against Romania, fielding an 11 with several big talents.

However, it was the Romanians who produced the perfect match, completely extinguishing their opponent. Ukraine had possession of the ball at the start of the match, but could not materialize this domination.

At the half-hour mark, Romania took advantage of a huge error from Lunin, Courtois’ competitor at Real Madrid. Former Anderlecht Stanciu fired a shot into the top corner which made the stadium explode.

Romania almost hit the nail on the head before half-time, but the same Stanciu hit the bar from a corner. Ukraine did not find the keys and even sank after returning from the locker room.

Razvan Marin, formerly of Standard, shot from distance and surprised Lunin at fault again (2-0, 53rd). In the process, Denis Dragus – who will leave Standard this summer – received a cross at ground level and killed the match (0-3, 57th).

This is the first time in the history of the Euro that three former players from Anderlecht and Standard have scored for the same national team in a match.

Romania strikes a big blow, thanks to its former Pro League players. Romania takes the lead in Group E, the pressure on our Red Devils is already maximum!
