The first edition of the Leader’s Forum was held recently in Casablanca under the slogan “Manage as you are!”, allowing for debate on authentic and visionary leadership.

Organized by the Center for Young Leaders (CJD) in Casablanca, this first edition brought together more than 200 business leaders, entrepreneurs and decision-makers, and was marked by discussions ranging from emotional intelligence to the impact of IA, indicates the CJD in a press release.

The participants left with a clear roadmap to embody authentic leadership, ready to transform their professional environment and inspire their teams, notes the same source.

Communication, emotional intelligence, resilience or even self-knowledge: the keys to authentic leadership

The keynotes, plenaries and workshops saw renowned leaders share their journeys, successes and failures, to inspire participants to explore authentic and sincere leadership, and advocate coherence between their actions and values ​​to create an environment harmonious work, reports MAP.

And to note that the forum emphasized the importance of caring communication and relationship management to promote positive interactions and strengthen the lasting impact of leaders, while mental health and resilience were central themes, highlighting stress management techniques such as meditation, physical exercise and a balanced diet, in order to prevent burnout and maintain high energy.

Caring leadership, grounded in self-awareness and empathy, was identified as crucial to inspiring and motivating teams, while discussions also highlighted technological innovation, with the adoption of NoCode and artificial intelligence to optimize processes and save time.

Female leadership was particularly valued for its unique and valuable perspective, with a call to support and encourage female leaders in their innovations and creative solutions, while the use of psychometric profiling tools was recommended to know themselves better, identify your strengths and weaknesses, and thus facilitate effective personal development.

Finally, emotional intelligence has been highlighted as crucial for understanding and managing emotions, avoiding conflicts and fostering a positive work climate, contributing to authentic and inspiring leadership.

The program included a keynote, two plenaries and 25 interactive workshops dedicated to authentic management. This first edition aimed to inspire leaders to innovate and shine, by exploring together the principles of management and their impact on leadership in the era of Generation Z, artificial intelligence and globalization.

“This first edition of the Manager’s Forum was rich in exchanges and discoveries. We have created a unique space for reflection, learning and sharing, allowing each participant to leave with new ideas, valuable contacts and motivation renewed to lead their businesses towards success”, indicates the president of the CJD Casablanca section, Said Allali, quoted in the press release.

“By bringing together leaders, entrepreneurs and decision-makers from diverse backgrounds, we have cultivated an environment conducive to innovation and authenticity. This event marks the start of a collective journey towards more enlightened and inspiring leadership” , he added.

35 speakers and presence of several personalities from the business world

The forum began with opening words from Mr. Allali, the national president of CJD Maroc, Zainab Lazraq, with the leader of the Richbond Group, Karim Tazi, as keynote speaker.

The first panel with the theme “Manage As You are!” brought together Bouchra Nhaili, president of the national AGEF and HR director of Lydec, Soufiane Erraji, author and speaker and Ismail Akalay, general director of SONASID.

Then, around twenty speakers led several workshops on themes such as profiling, leadership and personal development, mental health at work and the resilience of leaders, the development of emotional intelligence and the role of the leader in the attraction of talents or the use of artificial intelligence and No-Code.

The CJD is a non-profit organization bringing together business leaders wishing to contribute to economic and social development. Since its creation in 1938, the CJD has trained more than 80,000 entrepreneurs around the world, representing 677,593 jobs in 17 countries. In Morocco, the CJD has seven active sections, offering continuing training and a solid network for young leaders.
