Faced with the outbreak of riots in the stands of the Stade du 16-Novembre in the town of Ouled Taima, the referee was forced to stop the match in the 18th minute of the first half.
According to well-informed sources, these events left several injured, including the coach of Union Amal Tiznit, Hassan Osherif, who suffered a head trauma which required the wound to be sewn up. Some journalists and security personnel were also injured while covering the match and ensuring the safety of participants.
The riot caused the destruction of a large number of cars near the stadium, triggering a state of chaos and panic around the match.
Some Amal Tiznit fans had attacked a gas station outside the town of Oulad Taima, at a toll highway on the Agadir-Taroudant highway, after seriously injuring a station employee with knives. They were then masked to try to steal the product. station funds.
The finger of blame points before the riots broke out between the two masses, due to the failure of the Tiznit authorities, as well as the children of Taima, to prevent the movement of the public, due to the leak of information on the intention to create chaos on social networks, which the authorities should have taken with all necessary seriousness.
