“Sports management must leave”: Charleroi supporters are almost unanimous – Tout le football

Charleroi supporters no longer have confidence in the management. A survey carried out by supporters provokes a lot of reactions.

This Wednesday, the Storm Ultras 2001 of Sporting de Charleroi published a survey where they asked supporters if they still wanted direction. The result was clear.

Indeed, out of more than 1,800 voters, 93% chose the following option: “The sports management must resign or be fired, it is no longer credible to achieve the objectives of excellence. I no longer have confidence.” The other option being: “Sports management must remain and be maintained, it is credible to achieve the objectives of excellence. I have confidence.”

The fans are unhappy. Charleroi had 5 defeats in a row and was even eliminated by Patro, a Challenger Pro League team, in the Belgian Cup. The fans can’t take it anymore. And they don’t fail to say it on social networks.

Never in 40 years as a supporter have I felt so violated

“Never in 40 years as a supporter have I felt so violated by… no words… Yes, the sports management must leave and return Sporting to its true history… Passion, environment, warmth, terroir… Ah yes , I have been in T1 since 2011. Before, T4,” wrote an Internet user.

“Subscriber since the age of 14 and I am 46. I lived through the Spaute and Colson years with the oldest ultras who lived these years at the same time, but here we arrive at a situation for several years which is becoming harmful for the identity of Charleroi,” describes another supporter.

Most opinions point in this direction, and trust hardly seems to exist. The call for calm launched Tuesday by the club’s management changed nothing.
