Real Madrid finished the 2023/24 season with three more titles to add to their tally: the 15th European Cup, the 36th La Liga and the 13th Spanish Super Cup. Our team, which consolidates its legend as the best club in history, has reaffirmed its hegemony in the major competitions of Europe and Spain.
In the Champions League, Ancelotti’s men reached the final after winning three complicated qualifiers. In the round of 16, against Leipzig, our team won with a cumulative score of 2-1. In the quarters, we faced Manchester City in a frenetic playoff, which started with a great match at the Bernabéu and was decided away in the penalty shootout. The semi-final pitted the Madridistas and Bayern Munich. The Germans took the lead, before a double from Joselu in the final minutes propelled Real Madrid into the final. Finally, at Wembley, Carvajal and Vini Jr. helped beat Borussia Dortmund with a score of 0-2.
The 36th League
The LIga was mathematically won on May 4, 2024. Our team secured the title with a 0-3 victory against Cadiz, four days before the end of the competition. Ancelotti’s men were superior in key matches like the two Clásicos. In Montjuïc, the Madridistas turned the tide thanks to a double from Bellingham (1-2). On the return, the team managed a superb comeback at the Santiago Bernabéu (3-2). In addition, Real Madrid was the best defense, breaking its match record without conceding a goal, and the best attack in the championship.
The 13th Spanish Super Cup
On January 14, 2024, Real Madrid lifted their 13th Spanish Super Cup. Ancelotti’s men beat Barcelona in the final played in Riyadh by a heavy score of 4-1, with a hat-trick from Vini Jr., MVP of the final, and another goal from Rodrygo. Before that, the Madridistas had eliminated Atlético in the semi-final (5-3) after a match which was decided in overtime.

After lifting the Decimoquinta, Nacho, Modrić, Kroos and Carvajal equaled Gento’s record of six European Cups. Nacho and Modrić took the opportunity to strengthen their legend at Real Madrid, becoming the two players with the most titles in the club’s history (26). For his part, Ancelotti increased his record with a fifth European Cup and 13 titles in total as Madridista.
