Anderlecht in competition with a European giant for a young talent – All football

RSC Anderlecht has a clear policy: attracting young talents whose added value is beyond doubt. This is the case of David Oduro, a young Ghanaian… for free.

Jesper Fredberg assured that Anderlecht would be offensive in the summer transfer window. This means that barring any surprises, we should expect to see some pretty high-sounding names land on paper, like last summer with Dolberg, Schmeichel and Thorgan Hazard.

But the Danish sporting director also has a policy of bringing in talented young players, who can almost certainly be resold at a profit. With this in mind, RSC Anderlecht would have set its sights on David Oduroa young Ghanaian full-back just 18 years old.

Left back playing for the Accra Lions, Oduro is already a starter there and is also a Ghanaian U20 international. According to the Spanish media Sport, Anderlecht have already made an offer, but are up against some serious competition.

Indeed, Bayer Leverkusen but especially FC Barcelona would be on the case. Regarding Barça, it’s even concrete since David Oduro took a test there: he was photographed wearing the kit Blaugrana.

David Oduro could naturally come and strengthen, initially, the RSCA Futures. The left-back position is in theory well stocked for the coming season with Ludwig Augustinsson (whom we await confirmation that he will still play for Anderlecht next season) and Moussa N’diaye.
