Raja, author of an exceptional season marked by 20 victories against 9 draws and without the slightest defeat, held its competitors high this year with a regular performance, a fiery attack (49 goals), the second in the championship behind AS FAR (63) in addition to its defensive line, the best this season, which only conceded 15 goals. He will travel to Oujda with a double objective, namely to win this decisive match and perpetuate his invincibility in the championship this season. Certainly, AS FAR will be able to bite its fingers if the title escapes it like this, especially since it dominated the championship head and shoulders before stumbling on the last day and offering the chair of leader in Raja.
Another highlight this season in Botola Pro D1 is that the leading duo stifled all competition for the title since the club ranked in third place, Renaissance Berkane, is 17 points behind the head of the ranking while the 4th, Union Touarga, is 26 points behind Raja, which in itself is a rare occurrence in the national championship.
If FUS Rabat, fifth with 43 points, tied with Union Touarga, will play its match against AS FAR with the aim of seizing 4th place in order to hope to participate in the Coupe de the Confederation, Mouloudia Oujda (13th/25 pts), will play for its survival in the championship against Raja.
