In life, there are people that we are tired of seeing and hearing…
It’s the same in the media, in particular.
We have the impression that every time we open the TV or the radio, they are there, talking to us about sport or politics…
But conversely, there are also people who benefit from being known. People who, every time we hear them or meet them, we say to ourselves that they should have more space in the media portrait. Arnaud Gascon-Nadon is clearly part of this second group.
We received Arnaud this week on the podcast Stanley25 and honestly, he gave much more than the client asked for. So much the better !
Arnaud spoke about parties which last at least a week after winning a Gray Cup, about the time the Alouettes didn’t keep their word to draft him, about how he fucked up a little of the CFL (he only had his mind on NFL), of the time he got kicked out of the combine of the CFLof the reality of being the son of Guy Nadon, of a party with Lightning players at Tampafrom a place of party hidden in Gatineau, patchs of nicotine that athletes take, of the incredible ability to split of Henry Burris, anti-inflammatories in sport, the party evenings of Étienne Boulay, Tony Marinaro, Jean-Charles Lajoie, Éric Duhaime and the nights that never ended at the Bungalow (bar on Mont-Royal Street) with Canadiens players (Prust, Galchenyuk, Gallagher, Rene Bourque, etc.) the day before CH matches.
Arnaud also dropped that many hockey players made powder a few hours before a match, or the day before…
“It’s the powder that hockey guys make before going to play […] if not before, it’s the day before! »
And that a large majority of football players smoked weed before the games in order to relax their body and mind.
In closing, Arnaud admitted that 80% of gameshe didn’t feel like playing them. And he wasn’t the only one!
Don’t shy away from your pleasure; go listen AGN45 on the Stanley25 set !
