Martin Necas, Andrei Svechnikov and Jack Roslovic all shined offensively to lead the Carolina Hurricanes to their fifth straight victory, 8-2 against the Boston Bruins at Lenovo Center.
Necas scored a goal and had three assists while Svechnikov had two goals and an assist. They notably found themselves at the heart of a three-goal surge by the Hurricanes (7-2-0) in the space of 52 seconds in the first period, which allowed Carolina to find itself with a 4-1 lead. .
