Jannik Sinner won the Six Kings Slam, the exhibition tournament in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Italian world No.1 beat the Spanish world No.2 Carlos Alcaraz in the final on Saturday evening in three sets: 6-7 (5/7), 6-3 and 6-3. The meeting lasted 2 hours and 21 minutes.

Sinner eliminated Serbian Novak Djokovic (ATP 4) in the semi-final on Thursday. Alcaraz triumphed over his idol Rafael Nadal (ATP 153) in a 100% Spanish clash. The latter was beaten by Djokovic earlier on Saturday in straight sets 6-2 and 7-6 (7/5) in the third place match.

Nadal made his return on Thursday after his elimination at this summer’s Olympic Games in where he reached the doubles quarter-finals alongside Alcaraz. In singles, he had to lose in the second round against Djokovic. The Spaniard and winner of 22 Grand Slam titles announced earlier this month that he would end his career at the end of next month, after the Davis Cup final in Malaga.

Djokovic and Nadal only entered the tournament in the semifinals of the Six Kings Slam. Sinner beat the Russian Daniil Medvedev (ATP 5) in the quarter-finals on Wednesday, while Alcaraz eliminated the Dane Holger Rune (ATP 14).
