About seven months ago, the CAS had imposed on Paul Pogba a four-year ban for doping. The Juventus midfielder, under this sanction, was promised more than three seasons in dry dock and a return as a free agent at the age of 34, without competitive rhythm. Fortunately for him, the appeal he presented to reduce the sanction was accepted: he will be back on the pitch from March 2025.

Until then, he is still under contract in Turin, since he is engaged until June 30, 2026, but he will leave the club where he made his name when very young. Fabrizio Romano, journalist specializing in transfers, indicates, via his profile

The former Mancunian returned to Italy in July 2022 following the end of his contract with the Old Trafford club, who had paid, in August 2016, 105 million euros to the ‘Blacks and Whites’ to obtain the signature of the French. From then on, it failed to reach the expected level, falling into the bad dynamic of ‘Red Devils‘, who since the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson lack ambitions and aspirations.

For the moment, the possible destination of Paul Pogba, who has not set foot on the pitch since September 3, when he came off the bench for a Serie A match against Empoli, has not been revealed. He has not played since the Europa League semi-final against Sevilla in May 2023 and has not scored since a trip to Burnley on Premier League Matchday 24 in 2021-22.
