The club is pleased to welcome a player with an exceptional background, who will give of himself.

Although Florian Monière is only 25 years old, this Toulon native already has plenty of experience in the world of football. His story truly began in Aix-en-Provence where he signed a non-solicitation agreement when he was only 13 years old, a contract which brought him into the professional world.

At 14, he headed to the Olympique de Marseille training center where he played with the 17-year-olds, then the National 19-year-olds and finally in Nationale 2.

At OM, he had the chance to participate in training led by legend Marcelo Bielsa and his assistant Diego Reyes. He then moves on to Sedan which has just gone down to Nationale 2 and hopes to come back straight away. The club finished second after a good season.

Among his other experiences, Florian also spent time at Gazélec Ajaccio and during his career, he gradually made the transition from player to coach. Among other things, he obtained his football instructor’s certificate 3 years ago, a sports educator and project coordinator diploma and since February, Trapel has been lucky enough to have him on its staff. “The club is growing very quickly, he explains, and my role is to bring expertise, particularly to the women’s division, to help Trapel to structure itself and become a driving force in Aude football.”.

When asked what marked him in his career, he without hesitation mentions Marcelo Bielsa. “He has incredible charisma. The first time he introduced himself to the OM youngsters, many players couldn’t say a word because we felt like we were in the presence of someone “If as a coach I try to put in place attractive football, based on effort, it is largely thanks to him and his assistant.”.

And it is this combative and demanding spirit that will benefit Trapel, the players, but also the educators who happily benefit from his experience.
