After Tetouan and Rabat, the 13th edition of Morocco Royal Tour of show jumping concluded, Sunday in Quarry A of the El Jadida Exhibition Park, with a victory for the Swiss rider Adrian Schmit. The Swiss team rider and his horse “Chichirito 11” won with a score of 45.54 points at the end of a hard-fought second round.

Second place went to the Saudi Khaled Almobty, who totaled 37.91 points, while the Swiss rider Dominik Fuhrer (41.43 points, with 4 penalties).

At the end of the competition, Adrian Schmit told the press that he did not expect a victory in El Jadida. “I am very happy to have won this Grand Prix, a victory that I did not necessarily expect to achieve. My horse, with whom I have been working since he was 9 years old, has shown incredible form in recent weeks, and today he jumped exceptionally well. This success is the fruit of long-term work, and I am proud of this performance,” confided Schmit.

Note that at the start of this event, 30 riders and horses representing 12 nations set out to try to win the title.
