Kevin De Bruyne was not happy after the defeat against France (2-0) in the Nations League on September 9. The captain of the Red Devils did not hesitate to let it be known at the final whistle.

The Italian-German first announced that ‘KDB’ had asked him to skip the October and November rallies to take care of his body, but also returned to his captain’s comments after the setback against France.
“First of all, Kevin is a great player with personality. He’s our captain and he can speak to the team in a certain way. He did not mention any names. The others absent
Besides ‘KDB’, Romelu Lukaku is the other notable absentee from the Devils selection. “Romelu is in a bit of the same situation as Kevin. He plays in Naples but he doesn’t feel at his best yet. He also asked to work individually in his club. I hope he will be back for the month of November. The more he plays, the better he will be.”
Tedesco also commented on the non-selections of Julien Duranville, Thomas Meunier, Arthur Vermeeren and Thomas Kaminski. “Duranville has a hamstring injury and Meunier also asked us to work individually in Lille because of calf discomfort. Kaminski is out for personal reasons. For Arthur, we decided to give him minutes with the U21s. He’s playing a bit again at Leipzig but we think it’s the right decision to give him some rhythm with the hopefuls.“
