They reached a milestone during the playoffs – Lausanne HC

After some thrilling final stages, it is now time to take stock and congratulate. During these 19 playoff matches, several LHC players reached a significant milestone that we would like to highlight today.

Joël Genazzi – 600 matches in LHC colors and 800 National League matches

Captain and emblematic player of the Lausanne Hockey Club, our number 79 joined the club in 2013. Eleven seasons after his arrival, Joël continues to consolidate his place as the most capped player in the history of the LHC by passing the symbolic bar of 600 matches played under the Lausanne colors. In 615 games, our captain scored 275 points, including 85 goals!

In addition to already being part of the history of the Vaudois club, Joël is also part of the exclusive club of players who have participated in more than 800 National League matches (804). Congratulations Joe!

Lukas Frick – 400 matches in LHC colors

Arriving in 2017, Lukas Frick quickly established himself as an essential player for the Lausanne Hockey Club. A great professional, he has played a string of matches since his arrival and has just passed the mark of 400 matches played with the LHC. During these 406 matches played under Lausanne colors, our number 38 scored 154 points, including 35 goals!

Ronalds Kenins – 300 matches in LHC colors

Arriving in 2018 from the ZSC Lions, the Latvian international with a Swiss license, Ronalds Kenins took part in more than 300 meetings with the red and white of the LHC. A significant performance which has seen our number 81 prove decisive on 129 occasions (40 goals and 89 assists) since then.

Ken Jäger – 200 matches in LHC colors

It was at just 22 years old that Ken Jäger settled in Lausanne in the summer of 2020. Promising, the number 17 of the LHC has gradually established himself as a key element of our squad. It was during the series against his training club, HC Davos, that Ken played his 200th match with the LHC. In 214 games, the Swiss international scored 30 goals and made 41 assists (71 points).

Igor Jelovac – 500 National League matches

Trained in the ranks of the LHC Academy, Igor Jelovac returned to Lausanne at the start of the 2022-23 season. Our number 49 has just passed the milestone of 500 matches played in the National League. After stints at HC Bienne, HC Ambri-Piotta and the Rapperswil-Jona Lakers, Igor has already played 103 matches with the LHC since his return.
