After four years of absence, the Jumping of the Province of Liège is back, in the new Halles des Foires de Liège Expo of 14,000 m² with an esplanade of 4,500m² which will host numerous events.
So here is the Jumping of the Province of Liège, of the ASBL Jumping international de Liège from October 4 to 6, at the initiative of the City of Liège. “It will be a great inaugural event with a slightly different formula which will allow the installations to be tested before a complete redeployment next year. A great success for several teams,” said the mayor of Liège, Willy Demeyer, in our columns.
And the highlight of the show was the Frenchman of Italian origin, Mario Luraschi who brought it this Friday, October 4. Rider, squire-acrobat, horse trainer for the cinema, director, Mario Luraschi, reproduced film scenes such as knights’ tournaments, Roman chariot races, flying fire horses with a new number on the theme by Cyrano de Bergerac.
But the evening didn’t go entirely as planned. Indeed, a rider was injured in the middle of the show, causing the show to be interrupted for a good thirty minutes. An ambulance then appeared on the track to take care of the injured man.
A similar show is planned for this Sunday, October 6, at 7 p.m. We hope without incident.
