17 players find themselves on waivers in the NHL

Things are moving today in the NHL as 17 players saw their names placed on waivers with the aim of being assigned to their respective American League team.

Of the lot, the names of two former Montreal Canadiens players are among them.

Here is the full list.

Jarred Tinordi (Flames), Dryden Hunt (Flames), Walker Duehr (Flames), Axel Jonsson-Fjallby (Jets), Simon Lundmark (Jets), Mason Shaw (Jets), Dominic Toninato (Jets), Nicholas Abruzzese (Maple Leafs), Nick Blankenburg (Predators), Rasmus Asplund (Panthers), Jacob Megna (Panthers), Zac Dalpe (Panthers), Tobias Bjornfot (Panthers), Cale Fleury (Kraken), Patrick Koch (Utah HC)Ben McCartney (Utah HC) et Andrew Agozzino (Utah HC).

In the list, we notice the defenders Jarred Tinordi (22nd overall pick in 2010) et Cale Fleury (87th overall pick in 2017)two former Canadiens.

Each NHL team now has 24 hours to claim one or other of these players, otherwise they will be assigned to their respective farm club in the American League.
