While their club must travel to in 3 weeks, Besiktas supporters will not be allowed to travel to the capital of Gaul.

In a press release from the office of the prefect of the Auvergne Rhône Alpes region published today, the authorities announced that Besiktas supporters will not be authorized to travel to Lyon for the match counting for the 3rd day of the Europa League on October 24 next. The meeting was in fact classified as very high risk by the National Division for the Fight against Hooliganism (DLNH).

In particular, Besiktas supporters are prohibited from “traffic and parking on public roads” in the city center of Lyon, in the SNCF stations of the Rhône department, in the airports of Lyon and at tolls around the Lyon metropolis. Access to the stadium and its surroundings will also be prohibited. This ban, which concerns the presence of Besiktas fans in Lyon, should soon be supplemented by a travel order from the Ministry of the Interior.
