There are still four days to go in the champions’ play-offs, which will determine the new champion. The competition promises to be exciting with three contenders for the title: RSC Anderlecht, Union SG and Club Brugge.

Steven Defour enlightens us on this battle. RSC Anderlecht are currently at the top of the table, but according to Defour, they must not fall asleep.

“The luck factor will play an important role. But for the moment, the trend is still that Bruges is wild and that in Anderlecht, it is a little too close each time,” he believes for Radio Radzinski.

Defour also notes that Anderlecht is in difficulty in midfield, among other things.

Who should Leoni be associated with?

“Leoni is a very good footballer, but the question is who we associate him with,” continues Defour. “It could be Rits or Delaney, but then you need a real number 10. Dolberg will never do the job in midfield, and you play with two attackers,” he explains.

For Defour, it is therefore clear that Stroeykens must evolve in the axis and not on the sides. “I would also try to play with real full-backs,” meaning Francis Amuzu and Anders Dreyer, among others.
