These “fitness and well-being” sessions intended for “over 16s” started on Saturday September 28 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., then every Saturday outside school holidays. The price is €65 per person.

New: leisure hand

Another new feature: “the hand leisure », also at the La Gacilly sports hall, Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. mixed sessionsare intended for the practice of handball for keep fit “without competitive spirit, and without championship”. Multi-sport sessions

The club offers multisport sessions at the Bois-vert sports hall in Carentoir on Wednesdays from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., again for sports practices “ friendly » intended for those over 16 years old. “Young people are having funand move from one sport to another in a cycle of two or three sessions. »

Handball school

The handball school resumed on September 28 every Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. with baby handball for 3 to 5 year olds, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with first steps for 6 to 8 year olds .

Agreement with the Redon club

On the purely sporting side, Pays de La Gacilly handball has created aagreement with the Redon clubfor its under-13 women’s teams, under-15 men’s and women’s teams, under-18 men’s and women’s teams and senior women’s teams. “There are two teams of 25 to 30 players per team per age category. The three weekly training sessions alternate between Redon and La Gacilly and shuttles facilitate travel in both directions.

The Pays de La Gacilly handball presents under its own colors a mixed under-11 team, two men’s under-13 teams and a senior men’s team.

Neon handball tournament

The club is preparing its 3rd fluorescent hand tournament, played in the dark using blue lights and phosphorescent equipment “which we rent to other associations on occasion”. The meeting is set at the La Gacilly sports hall on November 1 for young people and November 2 for adults.

This will be followed on Sunday December 1st at the Bois-Vert hall in Carentoir by the children’s lotto, open to all with prizes intended for children. “It was full last year. »

In 2025, the club will organize a raclette evening on February 1 at the Bois-Vert room in Carentoir, and a garage sale on April 20 at the same place.
