For the promotion of granite in the town, particularly on the future Place des Halles, the Granite Geographical Indication of Brittany (IGGB) association presented a Breton granite trophy to the Town of Perros-Guirec (Côtes-d’Armor).

It is a distinction now engraved in granite that the town of Perros-Guirec (Côtes-d’Armor) received. The Geographical Indication granite de Bretagne association, which has campaigned for several years for the official recognition of a geographical indication of the material, presented a trophy to the City at the beginning of April 2024.
