Following the acquisition of the Médoc golf course, renamed Cabot Bordeaux, the Canadian group is expanding into Europe with the acquisition of the most northerly links golf course in the world.

Renowned for the quality of its portfolio of luxury resorts and golf destinations, The Cabot Collection is preparing to reveal this week a new strategic and spectacular acquisition in Europe. A little over a month after the acquisition of the Golf du Médoc Resort renamed Cabot Bordeaux, the Canadian group will announce the acquisition of the Lofoten Links complex, located in the rugged landscape of Norway’s most isolated fjords. A way to extend its international presence in Europe with a proposition considered among the most exceptional in the world, offering a unique blend of natural landscapes and golf.

Ranked 24e ranked among the most beautiful courses in the world by Golf Digest and in 88e Positioned by Golf Magazine, its wild and isolated coastline provides a breathtaking backdrop for golf enthusiasts. The legendary course is known for its 18-hole layout that can be played under the midnight sun in summer and the northern lights in autumn. Nordic-style lodges and an on-site restaurant complete the Lofoten Links hospitality offering, which offers activities such as horse riding, hiking and kayaking for travellers seeking authenticity and adventure.

Cabot Group’s investment in Lofoten Links comes in a year in which the company announced the acquisition of Cabot Bordeaux, formerly known as Golf du Médoc Resort, a premier golf and wine destination in Bordeaux, France.
