-The Ikoné trail falls apart
In the offensive sector, FC Nantes attempted a big move. At Fiorentina, Jonathan Ikoné is looking for a second wind and is considering leaving. Experienced, versatile and efficient, the French international appeals to Antoine Kombouaré. But the file sputtered. Firstly because of the competition, which is too strong. RC Lens, Rennes and especially Paris FC are on the case. Much better armed than Nantes, these clubs clearly have the advantage to attract Ikoné.
Too many loans for Fio…
Even more complicated: administrative reasons. For Jonathan Ikoné, FC Nantes is considering a six-month loan. Impossible for Waldemar Kita to consider a transfer this winter. Except that Fiorentina has reached its quota of loaned players! Six of them have already been temporarily ceded (Amrabat, Barak, Brekalo, Infantino, Nzola and Sabiri). UEFA will not allow a new loan, the FCN can therefore forget the Ikoné option…
