If Paris Saint-Germain has already set its priorities for the next summer transfer window, a resounding departure could change the face of Luis Enrique's squad…
The hot news from Paris Saint-Germain concerns, as we know, the Champions League match, this evening at the Parc des Princes, against the English Manchester City. Luis Enrique's players must win if they want to continue in the most beautiful European competition. But PSG, at the same time, is already preparing for the next summer transfer window. As already said yesterday on our site, Luis Campos will indeed stay in Paris and has even set his priorities for the summer: Mohamed Salah (32 years old), Maxim De Cuyper (24 years old) and Jhon Durán (21 years old). On the other hand, and in the departures department this time, Paris could let slip a historic player: the Brazilian defender Marquinhos (30 years old). Indeed, and according to information given by PSG Inside Actus, the emblematic captain could live out his last months in the jersey of the capital club.
Marquinhos leaving?
The Brazilian already had numerous contacts during last summer's transfer window, particularly from Saudi Arabia. He would even have hesitated to look elsewhere during the last transfer window due to supposedly strained relations with his coach, Luis Enrique. The possibility of a departure for a championship other than Ligue 1 will therefore be relevant again next summer. With, of course, already concrete interests from several major European clubs and also in Saudi Arabia.
-PSG has already identified 3 replacements
If “Marqui” were to leave France, the Parisian club would not lack a solution. PSG is in fact already active on the defender market since several names have been mentioned in different media: Tomas Araujo (Benfica, 22 years old), Edmond Tapsoba (Leverkusen, 25 years old) or Gonçalo Inacio (Sporting, 23 years old). In the meantime, Marquinhos, absent during PSG's last three matches (Coupe de France and Ligue 1) will indeed be present this evening on the lawn of the Parc des Princes. Objective: beat Manchester City and continue to dream (bigger) in the Champions League.
