In a very negative spiral and in danger of relegation, the Breton club wishes to both recruit to revive itself, but also to downsize its workforce to find a second wind and free up payroll. Albert Gronbaek, who joined the Rennes loft this winter, found refuge in this English team which is however 20th in the Premier League with only 6 points. The 23-year-old Dane, scorer of 2 goals in 16 Ligue 1 games this season, has officially headed to the south of England according to the club's press release. The agreement was reached around a loan and a purchase option of 15 million euros. The same amount that the Ille-et-Vilaine club paid to acquire the midfielder this summer from FK Bodö/Glimt (Norwegian D1).
