A pure Rochelais
Hoani Bosmorin discovered Rugby at the age of five at Stade Rochelais, and, 14 years later, the winger is still with the Yellow and Black. A club for which he has unconditional love, where he has experienced each category, before performing in recent years among the hopefuls.

Bosmorin is one of his men who were trained for a primary position, before performing in another register. First scrum half in his younger years, Maritime discovered the wing during his first Crabos season. A physical player with devastating support, with a very good burst of speed, and a good defender (like this incredible try saved against Ireland during the last U20 Six Nations Tournament), the Rochelais is a snarling winger , but also capable of great strokes of brilliance.
For the rest of his career, Bosmorin has very clear ambitions: “I want to become the best possible player in my position, master the winger role by heart, and have an atypical style of play that is different from others”he says to RugbyPassbefore adding: “My favorite player? I would say Gabriel Lacroix, whom I idolized in La Rochelle, in my favorite club, but at international level, I really liked Yoann Huget also.”
Fan of dance and music
“If I could do anything other than rugby I would most certainly do dance, because I am passionate about it”explained the young player in an interview for RugbyPass before the U20 World Cup in South Africa last summer.

However, he never practiced dancing in a club. “Salsa, bachata, tango, I love (…) I even watch Dancing with the Stars”reveals the Tricolore to France Rugby. Finalist of the U20 World Cup
“Playing for France is something very honorable for me, there is a military experience and past in my family. Wearing this jersey is a real source of pride. explains the Habs. He, who had already played a few matches with the French under-18 team, was, at the start of 2024, selected by Sébastien Calvet to take part in the Six Nations Tournament with the Bleuets. He played 2 matches, during which he produced very solid performances, before being recalled to participate in the U20 World Cup in South Africa. After playing three matches with the starters, he was unfortunately forced to withdraw from the final, which was ultimately lost by the Bleuets against England. A lack of weight, which inevitably harmed his family.
A possible future with France 7
If the Rochelais discovered the French U20 team in 2024, he was called up, twice, with France 7. First at the end of last year, to complete an internship, from November 11 to 15, but also at the beginning of 2025, for a new four-day course in Marcoussis. Because Hoani Bosmorin is part of the list “Objective 2028”the FFR and the LNR, with a view to the Olympic Games in Los Angeles. He appears there alongside players like Delibes, Timo and Zeghdar.
