Mohamed Salah's future appears to be taking shape, with rumors persisting around his departure from Liverpool. The Egyptian player, free from any contract next June, would be at the heart of the attention of Paris Saint-Germain and Al-Hilal, a Saudi club.
According to The TeamPSG president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi continues to show interest in the Egyptian winger, despite recent statements suggesting the latter could leave Liverpool. Salah remains one of the hottest stars in world football, with impressive statistics this season: 21 goals and 17 assists in 30 matches in all competitions.
Towards an imminent signing at Al-Hilal
However, a new development could well shake up PSG's plans. According to journalist Khaled Al-Shenaif of KSA Sports, Mohamed Salah is “99%” an Al-Hilal player, with a deal almost done. Al-Hilal, a Saudi Pro League club, has attracted several major football stars, including Cristiano Ronaldo. The Saudi destination therefore seems more and more likely for the double African Ballon d'Or, who could thus leave Liverpool after eight seasons spent in the Premier League. This new focus on Saudi Arabia could leave PSG on the sidelines, as they hoped to recruit Salah to strengthen their attack.
