This Sunday, Olympique de Marseille were held at home against Strasbourg (1-1) after a pleasant match to follow. Dangerous and having caused many problems for the Marseille club, the RCSA could have gone for victory at the Vélodrome, but had to settle for a draw which ultimately reflects the meeting quite well. After the match, the Strasbourg players were frustrated with this draw and Emanuel Emegha, in a duel with Leonardo Balerdi throughout the match, castigated the attitude of the Argentine defender and his teammates:

“Taking a point like that against Marseille is not enough. In the second half, they only wanted to get free kicks, penalties… normally Marseille is a club that wants to play football! We know our strengths and our qualities and we were not good enough to score this second goal. I regret not having scored this second goal. Balerdi couldn't catch me so he kept making mistakes. All he did was fight and provoke me. It's a small one for me. I'm not upset. I don't want to talk about refereeing. The referee was good tonight. It was a good match, we deserved to win. I regret not having scored this second goal.
