The AGO, which saw the participation of 36 associations out of 41, was marked by the examination and unanimous approval of the moral and financial reports and the forecast budget for the next financial year.
The moral report recounted the activities undertaken by the Federation, notably coordination with national institutions to “strengthen common action in the service of sporting issues in the Kingdom”.
It also reviews the actions of the Federation commissions and technical activities, in particular the appointment of a new national technical director and a new training manager, in addition to the organization of training sessions for the benefit of members. and physical education and sports teachers.
The financial report detailed the financial state of the Federation for the 2023-2024 financial year, particularly in terms of revenue and expenses.
In addition, the extraordinary general assembly saw the unanimous approval of the proposals to amend the regulations of the Federation and the statutes of the regional leagues.
Speaking on this occasion, the president of the Royal Moroccan Rugby Federation, Hicham Oubaja praised the efforts made by everyone with the aim of implementing the Federation’s strategy and the density of activities relating to training and supervision. in matters of training, refereeing, medical care and physical preparation.
He also underlined that the Federation is working to establish partnerships and agreements with a number of institutions and sports unions, which is able to establish a climate conducive to the exchange of technical and administrative expertise and to enable the organization training sessions and the development of joint sports programs, with the aim of raising the level of Moroccan clubs.
Held in the presence of representatives of the African Rugby Union, the Moroccan National Olympic Committee and the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sport, the AGO saw the presentation of the minutes of the previous AGO and of the auditor’s report and the determination of the annual membership fee.
