Like this meeting against Bordeaux where he definitely entered the hearts of the Saint-Etienne supporters. He scored 10 goals in total, actively participating in the club’s comeback. His return was hoped for this summer but it ultimately never materialized.
A new loan for Cardona?
This Saturday evening, Le Progrès brings us details for a possible return of Cardona. ASSE could recover the former Monegasque on a 6-month loan, like last winter. The striker currently on loan from Augsburg to Espanyol will have to end his loan in Catalonia to return to Forez.
It now remains to be seen whether or not the Saint-Etienne club will include a purchase option for the striker who has 2 and a half years of contract remaining in Germany.
