The media and legal battle between FC Barcelona, La Liga and the RFEF is far from over and the decision last night by the CSD to provisionally register Dani Olmo and Pau Victor for three months does not ease tensions. Following this strong announcement that Barça president Joan Laporta savored before the semi-final of the Spanish Super Cup against Bilbao, several clubs including Osasuna, Las Palmas, Valencia, Espanyol, Atlético de Madrid and even CDC Moscardo, a fourth division club, published a press release denouncing the registration of the two players. La Liga president Javier Tebas does not intend to stop there.
A complaint from La Liga before the courts
After refusing that the license of Dani Olmo and Pau Victor be extended, Javier Tebas felt betrayed by not having been consulted by the Superior Sports Council during the analysis of the appeal filed by Barça. According to AS, to respond to this indignation, he today filed a complaint with the courts in order to revoke the government’s provisional decision. He remains convinced that the Blaugranas did not respect the payroll rules in time and therefore cannot register his two players for the rest of the season.
