“Nîmes’ ranking does not reflect its qualities”

AS Lorraine coach Pablo Correa spoke before his team’s trip to Nîmes for the 16th day of the National this Friday, January 10.

« Nîmes is a team with value, and their ranking does not reflect their qualities. There’s a lot of potential in this group, and that’s what makes me wary for this move. We really paid attention to details during the video sessions. To bring back a good result from there, you will have to have a very good match. The ranking does not determine the value of a group, and on one evening, they can hurt us very much.

Physically, Zakaria Fdaouch’s tests are very good. I think he wants to prove and find a more stable daily life, because he has experienced complicated periods in football. He still has to regain his full physical form and his best level, but with this desire, he will get there. It’s up to us to be vigilant in supporting him. We brought him in so that he could bring us something, a different profile. He will not be qualified to play against , but yes, he will certainly have playing time afterwards.«
