The official press release from AJ Auxerre:
“The AJA is delighted to announce the arrival of the French midfielder from Burnley FC.
AJ Auxerre is delighted to announce the arrival of Han-Noah Massengo, on loan until the end of the season with an option to purchase. At 23, the versatile midfielder returns to the Auxerre jersey. He brings with him all his energy, his capacity for projection and his constant commitment.
Already loaned to AJA during the second part of the 2022-2023 season, Han-Noah quickly won over supporters with his more than accomplished performances, but also by his humility and his natural proximity to the public.
Trained at AS Monaco, he made his debut in Ligue 1 and the Champions League in 2018, becoming, at just 17 years and 3 months, the youngest Frenchman to play in the most prestigious European competition. In 2019, he joined Bristol City where he established himself as one of the best midfielders in the Championship. He has now played more than 100 games in the backroom of English football. With nearly 150 professional matches to his credit, Han-Noah returns to Auxerre and will wear number 80.”
