On the sidelines of the group selected by Bruno Genesio during the duel between LOSC and FC Nantes (1-1), Mohamed Bayo is studying his options. The market, to date, however, offers him few opportunities.
Appearing fourteen times in all competitions this season, for a total of 308 minutes, Mohamed Bayo (26 years old, 2 goals, 1 assist) watched from the stands as LOSC conceded a draw against FC Nantes (1-1) on Saturday last. The striker had been left out of the group by Bruno Genesio, who briefly explained his choice at the final whistle:
“It was a choice in this match compared to what I saw in training. […] Is his attitude a problem? In this match, I felt that others deserved more”he said in the depths of the Decathlon Arena – Stade Pierre Mauroy, suggesting a lack of involvement during the sessions.
On the sidelines of the group during this meeting, Mohamed Bayo is in an uncomfortable situation and, if no request has officially been made for his departure, his representatives are working, according to our information, to try to get him find a base this winter. However, the operation is not easy. His lack of references, sporting continuity (in Lille as well as on loan to Le Havre) and his difficulties over the last six months are obstacles. Even more, the importance of his emoluments is an obstacle in the emergence of first interests, like that expressed by Angers, receptive.
Despite the recent victory pocketed by his men over Stade Brestois (2-0) on Sunday, and the achievements scored by Esteban Lepaul and Ibrahima Niane, two of his center forwards, Alexandre Dujeux (coach of SCO) has not changed his gun and wish “strengthen yourself ahead”assure West France.
