Galatasaray insists on Skriniar, a way out emerges for the defender

Still looking for a club to bounce back during the winter transfer window, Milan Skriniar remains one of Galatasaray's priorities. The Turkish giant has renewed its interest in the Saint-Germain defender but the Slovak has not yet decided.

Milan Skriniar should already leave PSG. Only eighteen months after his signing, the Slovakian is no longer part of Luis Enrique's plans. Asked to find a way out during the winter transfer window, the central defender has no shortage of suitors.

As explained by RMC Sport, the rest of the Paris transfer window in terms of arrivals remains particularly conditional on departures, including his own. But that didn't stop the 29-year-old from flying to Qatar to prepare for the Champions Trophy with the rest of the Ile-de- squad.

A loan to Galatasaray considered

On Thursday, the PSG central defender was selected in the group to participate in the match in Doha. He therefore arrived on site in the evening with the rest of the squad. But the Slovak player keeps his contractual situation in the back of his mind.

According to information from RMC Sport, in recent hours Galatasaray has returned to the charge to secure the services of Milan Skriniar. A loan is being studied, it remains to be seen whether this solution will be accepted by both parties.

Several tracks in Italy and England

The player's entourage remains cautious while discussions are still underway with other clubs in England and Italy, and Dortmund has also come forward for information. This file risks further accelerating in the coming days. Milan Skriniar has still not decided, privately, which club he wishes to join.

After a first season in France disrupted by physical problems, Milan Skriniar saw recruit Willian Pacho preferred to support Marquinhos in the hinge. So much so that the Slovak made do with five appearances in the first part of the season, all in Ligue 1. For the rest, and particularly in the Champions League, the former captain of Inter Milan was confined to one place on the sidelines.
