Having experienced quite a few movements over the last six months, OL's U19s alternate between the good and the less good. But with hopes of the play-offs already gone.

With fifteen days already played, the U19s of theOL have already started their second half of the championship well. And the hopes of playing in the play-offs are already there. With eleven more matches on the program, the Lyonnais could still believe it, but they are already nine points behind Reimssecond, and we do not really see how this gap will be complete in 2025.

Because since the start of the season, Daryll's teammates Benlahlou alternates the good and the less good, but the results are clearly negative with eight defeats in fifteen days. For a 2007 generation which had already struggled last season, the movements at the head of the team did not help to create a calm climate. After just one season, Amaury Barlet chose to return to the U17 category and thus leave his place to Jordan Gonzalezwho was going the opposite way.

We then said to ourselves that with a young coach who had chosen to leave the adult world to return to the Academy, the U19s were in good hands. Unfortunately, it didn't last very long. Last November, Gonzalez preferred to respond favorably to the appeal of FC in National, and thus leave the young people of the OL Academy in limbo. One more incident in the daily life of the U19s for over a year.

Samy's promotion bagsdeputy of Barlet in U17, had no real effects with three defeats in four matches. Fortunately, the year 2024 ended rather well with a qualification in the round of 32 for Gambardella and a victory (2-3) in in a late championship match. Enough to suggest something better in 2025? With Sochauxleader of the group, on the program for the next round in the cup, the second part of the season could still be very long…

U19 top scorer: Daryll Benlahlou with nine goals
Best passer of the U19s: Timothée Dutot with five passes
