With the exception of Gift Orban, no departure is really close to being settled at the start of the transfer window on the OL side.
If OL are close to finding a solution with Hoffenheim for the departure of Gift Orban, a good number of undesirables must still be exfiltrated this winter to reduce the group by at least six elements and bring in some money as hoped by John Textor.
Concerning Wilfried Zaha, discussions are currently underway with Galatasaray and the Charlotte MLS franchise to find an exit and save a big salary but for everyone else, it looks more complicated.
There is no rush for Caqueret or Lopes
Out of favor at the start of the season, Maxence Caqueret (24 years old) has no more offers today than he had last summer. For Anthony Lopes (34), OL have already largely mourned transfer compensation and will seek to save as much money as possible on an amicable contract termination. The goalkeeper market remains closed but the door to FC Nantes could, like last summer, open if Alban Lafont were to leave the City of Dukes.
Akouokou and Kumbedi put up resistance
Unwanted since this summer when he squatted in the loft, Paul Akouokou (27 years old) would have touches in Spain according to Foot Mercato but would not be in a hurry to move due to his good salary in Lyon. Mahamadou Diawara (19 years old), who now wants to leave, is waiting for offers. For Saël Kumbedi (19), who no longer plays, it's a little less clear. The former Le Havre would still like to hang on and gain playing time against the big competition from the Maitland-Niles – Mata tandem according to FM. Finally, as for Jeffinho (24 years old), OL would like to leave him on loan to Botafogo. A club from which Adryelson (26 years old) should return unless Cruzeiro were to formulate the transfer offer desired by John Textor (8 to 10 M€ according to Globo Esporte).
Failing to find quick exits for all these elements, OL could put the butter in the spinach with the transfers of Ernest Nuamah (21 years old), picked up in the Premier League, and, as we indicated to you yesterday, of Saïd Benrahma (29 years old), who has touches in the Gulf and in the Championship (English D2).
