Joshua Kimmich, the master of Bayern Munich, is arousing all the desires as the end of his contract approaches, scheduled for next summer. Among the prestigious suitors, PSG seems ready to try its luck once again. The Parisian club, which saw its approaches rejected twice during the last transfer windows.
Last summer, the PSG set his sights on João Neves to consolidate his midfield. Luis Enrique, newly arrived at the head of the team, saw in this young Portuguese prodigy the perfect profile to energize the Parisian midfield and recover key balls. After fierce negotiations, the PSG finally obtained the signature of Neves for a sum of around €70M, bonus included. Since his arrival, the mid-20-year-old has continued to prove that he lives up to expectations. Between his solid performances and his ability to quickly integrate into the squad, João Neves is already establishing himself as a centerpiece of the team. An expensive investment, certainly, but one which, for the moment, is bearing fruit. But the PSG thought about recruiting a star.
Kimmich failed PSG
According to revelations from The Teamthe Paris Saint-Germain tried, unsuccessfully, to convince Joshua Kimmich to join its ranks last summer. The German international, an essential figure in Bayern Munichwould have politely declined the Parisian offer.
Kimmich has already done it
This was not a first for the PSG : already during the previous winter transfer window, the capital club had tried a similar approach, again receiving a refusal from the player. A double unsuccessful attempt which demonstrates the ambition of Parisian leaders to strengthen their workforce with world-class talents. In the meantime, the German star remains a player of the Bayern Munich.
