After trying different sports, Thibault turned to a career as an amateur footballer. When making a choice between becoming a professional footballer and a journalist, the qualities tipped the scales to one side. Here he is now in the editorial team of 10 Sport, after a diploma obtained at the International Institute of Communication in Paris.
Very active during the last summer transfer window, finishing with 12 recruits on the clock, OM notably went to the side of the English second division. The Marseille club thus recruited Ismaël Koné from Watford. While we are still waiting to see more from the Canadian, OM is counting heavily on him, as Mehdi Benatia said.
At 22 years old, Ismaël Koné is today an OM player, a club he joined this summer from Watford. The Canadian international was bought for almost €12m on the transfer market, signing a 5-year contract. Kone is therefore to Marseille for a moment, it's good, theABOUT count on him for the future.
“We have great hopes in him”
Asked by The Press, Mehdi Benatia spoke about Ismaël Koné and his arrival at theABOUT. The Olympian sports advisor then confided: “ He is a versatile midfielder, with an immense volume of play and above-average technical quality. As the coach said, we expect a lot from Ismaël, we have great hopes in him. For us, he represents the present and the future of OM ».
