Scorer with Real Madrid on Sunday, Kylian Mbappé once again contacted the LFP for “failure to pay bonuses and salaries” by PSG. A new approach which does not worry the club.
The financial dispute between PSG and Kylian Mbappé continues and is not close to delivering its verdict. This Monday, AFP learned that Kylian Mbappé had again contacted the LFP to “failure to pay bonuses and salaries” by PSG, from whom the new Real Madrid player is demanding 55 million euros.
A sum that PSG refuses to pay, despite injunctions from the LFP legal commission and then the joint appeals commission on October 25. “As a matter of principle”PSG had for its part filed an appeal before the executive commission of the FFF, which had rejected it because it was filed out of time.
PSG auditioned again on December 11, but calm
This Monday, AFP learned that Kylian Mbappé had once again turned to the LFP to claim the famous €55 million. A new hearing is expected to take place on Wednesday, December 11. “Kylian Mbappé reported to the LFP disciplinary committee that he had still not been paid despite the first and second instance decisions of the legal committee which ordered the club to pay himthe French international’s entourage told AFP. Subsequently, the LFP disciplinary committee decided on its own to summon PSG to a hearing to present its arguments before sanction..
But as since the start of this affair, the management of PSG remains calm since it considers that the LFP cannot force it to pay and can only rely on the competent courts, such as the industrial tribunal. The club is, however, exposed to sanctions (fine, withdrawal of points, ban on recruitment) in the event of “failure to pay sums owed with certainty by a French professional club” according to the statutes of the LFP. But this failure to pay must still be characterized and it is probably the industrial tribunals which will have to decide the question, within several months.
