This summer, the last PSG star left. Kylian Mbappé joined Real Madrid and PSG chose not to recruit another star, preferring to focus on the collective. A new project which takes time to take shape, especially in the Champions League where the club is in great danger. But the president, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, still believes in it.

Au PSGthere are no more stars. In 2023, Lionel Messi et Neymar left the club. This summer is Kylian Mbappé who has joined other horizons. This 2024-2025 season is therefore being done with players like Bradley Barcola, Randal Kolo Muani, Warren Zaïre-Emery or even Ousmane Dembele's. A project taken on by the Parisian boss for several years already.

Al-Khelaïfi promises the end of glitter

In 2022, in the columns of Parisian, Nasser al-Khelaïfi had already indicated wanting to put an end to the influx of stars within the PSG : « The dream is one thing, the reality another. Perhaps we should also change our slogan… Dream Bigger is good but today, we must above all be realistic, we no longer want flashy, bling-bling, is the end of glitter. We have done great things for eleven years, but every year we have to ask ourselves how to progress, how to be better. »

“We’ll get there, I’m sure.”

This Sunday, at the microphone of Canal +, Nasser al-Khelaïfi mentioned this project again and remains confident: “ If the new project with young players can work without a star? We have the players, but we also need luck. We'll get there, I'm sure. »
