SRO survey: Is the summer transfer window already a failure?
After 12 days of Ligue 1, the first doubts are beginning to concern the transfer window carried out by Stade Rennes.
The replaced coach, like the president, Stade Rennes did not raise its head with a third defeat in a row in Ligue 1. Jorge Sampaoli made several changes, first of all system, returning to a 3-4 -3 in which he aligned the recruits Hateboer, Ostigard, Kamara, Gronbaek, then James, Jota, and Gomez.
However, while Rennes is having its worst start to the season since 2002-2003 with 11 points taken in 12 days, doubts surround sporting director Frederic Massara and his transfer window carried out this summer, he who was only in charge of arrivals ( 12) with nearly 77 million euros spent, while Olivier Cloarec was responsible for departures (18) with nearly 140 million euros earned.
The quality of the players arriving at Stade Rennes, all from another championship, raises questions today. For you, is the summer transfer window already a failure? A poll which will be the subject of a debate Monday evening on France Bleu Armorique, in Lundi C'est Rauzy, at 6:00 p.m.
