The international break this November, the last of the calendar year, is about to bow out with final games during the night. As usual, it is Jonathan David who concludes the ball.
Ready for one last waltz? For several days now, on three different continents, LOSC players have been walking the international pitches and proudly defending the colors of their nation. Their latest games take place this Tuesday, or even during the night in certain more distant regions, and involve four regulars in the Lille locker room. The first to launch is none other than Ngal'ayel Mukau (20 years old), who recently had his first cape with the Democratic Republic of Congo. He faces Ethiopia from 5 p.m. at the Stade Alphonse Massemba-Débat in Brazzaville in a match with no real stakes.
An hour later, back in France, the France Espoirs team welcomes Germany to the Stade du Hainaut in Valenciennes during an international friendly match scheduled for 6:15 p.m.
Ayyoub Bouaddi (17 years old) will not be disoriented, having experienced several games with LOSC in this enclosure at the start of the season. During the evening, it will then be Sweden's turn to Gabriel Gudmundsson (25 years old) to take to the field with the reception of Azerbaijan at 8:45 p.m. at the Strawberry Arena in Solna. The Swedes, like Northern Ireland, North Macedonia and perhaps Romania (subject to UEFA's decision regarding stopping the match against Kosovo on November 15) are already assured of finishing at the top of their group and thus being promoted to League B.
Finally, later in the night, you will have to stay awake to follow the exploits of Jonathan David (24 years old) on the other side of the Atlantic. Canada hosts Suriname at BMO Field in Toronto starting at 1:30 a.m. in the second leg of the CONCACAF Nations League quarterfinals.
The day before was delicate for the Lille players, at least for Lisandru Olmeta who was forced, left on the bench, to helplessly witness his team's setback. A few hours later, Edon Zhegrova could enjoy success on home soil, even if new battles still await him in the League of Nations.
