Les Gones en Nord will attend the OL – ASSE derby
This Sunday morning, nearly sixty “Gones en Nord” supporters headed to Décines to attend the derby. A necessarily special trip for these OL fans who live in the North.
Waking up was obviously early, but it was worth it. This Sunday, at dawn, many of them gathered to head towards Décines. But before arriving safely, they still have some way to go. They are the members of the “Gones en Nord” supporters group. As the name suggests, these lovers ofOL do not live in the Lyon region, but among the Chtis. At 9 a.m., the start was given to complete the 700km to travel in order to arrive in Décines for the derby againstASSE. A first for many. Moreover, some were already there on Saturday and were able to witness the training and the encouragement of a whole crowd for Pierre Sage's players.
However, the bulk of the core left this Sunday morning and will arrive around 7 p.m. at Parc OL. Already present for the matches against Lens or Lille away, the “Gones en Nord” are reaching a new level in their development and will be 57 this Sunday evening when the derby kicks off. A drop in the ocean among the 58,000 spectators expected, but a real source of pride for this group who will head back to the north of France from the final whistle. When we love, we don't count.
