The bad news keeps coming for Randal Kolo Muani with PSG.
Things are not going to get better for Randal Kolo Muani at the club. If he still has the confidence of Didier Deschamps in the French team, the French international remains invisible in the eyes of Luis Enrique. And the Spanish technician's latest outing is not imbued with any optimism for the former Nantes player.
Luis Enrique doesn't need Kolo Muani
Randal Kolo Muani's situation at PSG is getting complicated day by day. Arriving for 95 million euros last summer, the French international is Luis Enrique's latest choice in attack this season. The team's only center forward after the injury to Gonçalo Ramos, the former Eintracht Frankfurt player is regularly snubbed by Luis Enrique. Randal Kolo Muani has only had two starts in 11 matches played in all competitions. The former Barça coach prefers to rely on false 9s with Marco Asensio and Kang-In Lee. An option which is not necessarily successful at PSG this season.

Asked about not using a center forward this Friday, Luis Enrique suggested that he does not yet have a number 9 that suits his style of play. “What do I expect from a 9? What we've all been waiting for. I could defend what it's like to play with a false number 9, or with a number 9. Those are my decisions. I look for the best for my team. I hear the criticism. We can criticize the 9 when we don't score. I know the criticisms, I accept them. I use a 9 when it’s appropriate and depending on what I want”he declared. Words that are unlikely to please Randal Kolo Muani.
